Qualifications and Experience

Professional Requirements:

  • National Diploma in / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or relevant Engineering qualification.
  • 5 years’ experience in automotive industry specializing in Electrical Equipment Management.
  • Solid electronic knowledge.
  • Understanding and experience in coating process and coating equipment.
  • Knowledge of programming software such as PLC, HMI and automation.
  • Listening and questioning skills.
  • Individual who takes initiative and is pro-active.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for electrical equipment installations, commissioning, programming, maintenance and other daily work.
  • Develop asset care plans for all electrical and electronic equipment in the paint shop.
  • Develop maintenance plans, routine inspections, regular backup planning for procedures, PLC and robotic programs and parameters.
  • Formulate technical documents for safe operations procedures, technical standards and work instructions of electrical and electronic equipment and supervise and manage the implementation.
  • Technical support for electrical related problems, electrical equipment failure analysis, continuous improvement and other maintenance work.
  • Knowledge and implementation of different maintenance tactics like Breakdown, Preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance.
  • Measuring parameters like MTBF, MTTR ,FMEA
  • Develop and implement and maintain an electrical spare part plan to ensure optimum stock holding.
  • To undertake continuous improvement activities.
  • To continually promote company philosophies, policies and values.
  • Take an active part in identifying and maintaining plant health and safety.
