- 2016-03-28

During US President Barack Obama's visit to Cuba, BAIC's 38 BJ40 vehicles were designated as service vehicles on March 20 owing to their outstanding performance and dynamic appearance. As technical experts, the after-sales service team from BAIC ensured the normal operation of these vehicles throughout the whole process, the excellent quality of BJ40 and thoughtful service of BAIC earned high praise from the Cuban government.

To be able to provide service assurance in the activities of Obama’s Visit to Cuba, the military industry quality of BJ40 passed the strictest test. At the beginning of R&D, BJ40 was tested for 1.1 million km at the Dingyuan Military Vehicle Test Field, in Anhui, China. To ensure off road safety and achieve a more reliable and safer vehicle, a high strength anti-rolling frame was equipped to car body. It is the extreme safety shield of the whole vehicle. In addition, pipeline encircled with metal allows the off road vehicle to be able to prevent against eroding from harsh road conditions. With a double steel plate ultra-large capacity fuel tank, it has better endurance. Besides, the full floating type semi-axis drive axle is a strong guarantee of the drag ability of BJ40. It allows the driver to react immediately when an accident happens, whether off road or at an international event.

BJ40's involvement in the foreign affairs of the Cuban government as the only Chinese brand involved not only shows the high recognition of BAIC's products in overseas markets, but is also hard evidence that BAIC has been deepening its operations and enhancing its brand power through outstanding after-sales services, honoring its service commitment of "Best service in town".

In 2016, BAIC will continue to provide consumers all over the world with better travel choices and optimal services so as to become the Better And Ingenious Choice of consumers. Meanwhile, BAIC will go global in an accelerated manner to fulfill the dream of "BAIC Globalization".
